Tools to Encourage the Healing of Black America

Tool #3
Implementing Change

When you have mastered self discipline and acknowledgment; you must then begin the actual process of gradually implementing positive change in your life.

It is a modification of the method in which you, Black America, desire to view yourself. If you’ve discovered in the present acknowledgment of your inner-self, that there are issues that you do not wish to remain a part of the future you; begin to visualize yourself free of such issues. Allow those things which afflict you to be replaced by appropriate solutions.

For example, if you find that you have an irrational fear or distrust with persons of another race or religion; make a decision to seek to better understand that race or religion. In doing so, you will be more capable of gaining mutual respect for them,
giving space for such irrational emotions to be transformed into a new feeling of humane sensibility.
But know that change only begins as thought, but it is only made actual by real actions on
your part. Even a thought must be maintain honestly if it is to become a catalyst of inner change. True psychological change is a dedicated work in progress.
Let every day be an opportunity to recognize and labor for the cause of self improvement.
Changing from a state of negative to one positive may for some Black Americans, prove a difficult task.
But it is for all Black Americans afflicted with any destructive issues, a most necessary task. Without this mental rebirth of mentality, there can be no healing within the person. If there is just a few among you that are trapped by their own mental illnesses; that sickness will eventually inflict the whole of the Black society.
Therefore, these simple tools should not only be directed at the individual self, but the collective whole of the Black American community.
